We are happy to see more ESG data is available in the market through various financial portals, financial websites and listed companies’ ESG reports. However, it is still quite challenging to generate insights and ideas due to the vast amount of data, different reporting standards, and different scoring algorithms among rating agencies. GreenCo has recently started a new project to organize ESG data from issuers covered by mainstream ESG rating or evaluation suppliers listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Firstly, we established a strategy defining our data fields, sample size, and target samples. Secondly, we chose to collect data by manual input instead of using available data feeds as we pay strong emphasis on using verifiable data. Thirdly, our research team will identify insights targeting for policy improvement using business intelligence.
We aim to strengthen our policy support advisory services backed by facts and statistics from a comprehensive ESG research and data analytics process. GreenCo is best known for being able to catch up the level of quality and standards offered by multinational consultancy at more affordable price.
