– A Solid Commitment To Responding To Paris Agreement and Tackling Climate Change

With the support of business leaders and the Environment Bureau, the BEC Low Carbon Charter was launched in March 2019 to mobilise companies in the property and construction value chain to collectively contribute towards Hong Kong’s long-term decarbonisation through their pledge to set and achieve carbon reduction targets.

On 16 April 2021, GreenCo ESG Advisory Limited joined the Low Carbon Charter, making a pledge to transition to a low-carbon economy aligning with the goals of the Paris Agreement to reduce climate-related risks and to secure sustainable development. In its pathway 1 commitment, GreenCo will be dedicated to

• Work towards setting decarbonisation target(s) consistent with the direction of transitioning towards the goals of the Paris Agreement.
• Implement strategic action towards achieving the target(s).
• Disclose annually progress of setting/achieving target(s).
• Advocate setting decarbonisation targets and implementing low carbon practices to stakeholders.
